Sign up at the Card Guardian website

Currently, when our fraud center sees suspicious activity on your MasterCard Debit Card, they call you directly and ask to verify the transactions. If they are true fraudulent transactions, the Fraud Center will promptly inactivate your card, so that no further fraud can occur.

Our new smsGuardian product will, in addition to the Fraud Center contact, send out an alert text message via your cell phone. If the transactions are legitimate, you will not need to respond to the text. If they are fraudulent transactions, you will respond to the text using the codes issued by our vendor and the card will then be rendered inactive so no further fraud can occur.
PLEASE NOTE:
Message and Data Rates May Apply.

You may discontinue the receipt of Alerts immediately by texting the word “STOP” (without quotes) in reply to a Guardian Alert. You may unsubscribe from this service entirely by logging into your smsGuardian account and deleting your device from the devices page. Cardholders can also discontinue alerts by texting the word STOP to 27576.

The cardholder will receive alerts sent to their cell phone (or other SMS text messaging device) for enrolled Liberty National Bank MasterCard Debit Cards. The number of alerts they receive will be based on their card usage. Cardholders will not receive more than one message per transaction on each enrolled card.

Some mobile service providers require that CardGuardian send a 30-day subscription reminder message to their customers participating in the smsGuardian program. Cardholders will receive an alert message every 30 days reminding them of the subscription if their mobile service provider is Sprint, Nextel, Boost, or Virgin. The alert message will display as: “Reminder: You have subscribed to Guardian transaction alerts for Liberty National Bank. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel.”

If you need help regarding the use of this service or your account, you may reply to an Alert message with the word HELP. You may also click on the “Service Usage Guide” link at our smsGuardian website or call (419)673-1217 and talk to a Liberty National Bank customer service representative.
