Money Market Account

Liberty National Bank offers its Money Market Savings account to provide you with the opportunity to keep your savings funds flexible while maintaining its liquidity and stability at the same time. A money market savings account with Liberty National Bank pays competitive rates on your funds.

This account is designed for the customer with higher savings balances who wish to earn a higher interest rate. The flexibility of limited check writing privileges and FDIC insurance makes it an attractive alternative to the traditional saving program.

Both the interest rate and the annual percentage yield may change. Any change to the interest rate for your account is at our discretion.

$2500 required to open account.
No minimum balance required to earn interest on this account, although interest rate paid is determined by account balance.

Savings Account Disclosures

Minimum -$25 deposit to open an account
Interest -computed by the daily balance method for the statement period. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day
Interest -credited monthly and compounded monthly
Interest -begins to accrue on the business day you deposit noncash items (i.e. -checks)
Monthly Maintenance Fee -$3 per month (waived for minors or if a minimum daily balance of $100 is maintained)
Account Fees may reduce earnings.
Semi-annual statement
Limitations per month for a total of six
Preauthorized Debits -6
ATM withdrawals -6
Monthly statement available with LNB checking account
Interest Rates and APY´s are subject to change at our discretion at any time
Ask for a fee schedule for information that may pertain to these accounts.


Transaction Limitations

Limits are for "each" statement cycle
No more than six (6) preauthorized or telephone transfers and withdrawals to another account of yours at Liberty National Bank or to a third party
No more than three (3) of these transfers may be made by your check, draft, debit card or similar order that is payable to a third party.
Automated Teller withdrawals are not permitted


How We Determine Your Balance and Interest

The balance on which interest is computed for your account is determined by the daily balance method.
Interest will be compounded monthly and credited monthly.
Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit noncash items. (checks)
